A wonderful partnership between fashion and home. Partnered with global creative visionary Laura Kim, Creative Director of Oscar de la Renta and founder of fashion label Monse. I worked with Laura and team to interpret her vision and help bring it to life! I designed items for Kitchen Hard Goods, other team members designed Entertaining and Textiles items.
Worked closely in collaboration with my manager Joshua Longo and several other teams to help bring this design to life. This design language is now being used across the board and has helped pave the way for Crate Kitchen. The images shown here are all in the Stainless finish, but the gadgets are also sold in a soft-touch finish as well.
This unique collaboration is near and dear to my heart. Chef Eric Adjepong, a first generation Ghanian-American chef, television personality and author. You might recognize him as a finalist on Top Chef!
We worked closely with Eric to bring his vision to life, honoring his vibrant, colorful Ghanian culture, mixed with an updated New York sense of style. It was an honor to be trusted to design pieces for Eric that are so culturally significant and close to his heart — we wanted to design with authenticity and Chef Eric guided us through the key features and benefits of items we had never seen or used before. I learned so much and feel such pride knowing we brought a small piece of Chef Eric’s culture to a wider audience and helped those from Ghana feel represented at Crate.
I designed all Kitchen items while working closely with the designer on the Entertaining team in order to create a cohesive collection.
I provided color direction for this exclusive Kitchenaid color, which took over 2 years to develop. Since the development was so lengthy, it was important to stay close with future trend and color development in order to create a color our customer would be excited about.
This collection was inspired by the fluting trend that took fashion + home by storm. The subtle, matte texture is intricate — half of the lines are vertical, half are horizontal, offering the customer versatility. The interior of each piece has a high glossy finish to prevent metal utensil marks as much as possible. Each canister has a silicone gasket for an airtight seal.
I provided the design and specs for this collection, and worked closely with the factory to make edits and revisions along the way. Kept close with my sourcing and merchant partners along the way to find the right manufacturing partner and stay within the required pricepoint.
Inspired by our first collaboration with the team at Chef’n, this idea was actually born in the airport on the way home from a visit to the Chef’n offices! Using the same design language as our Mini Juicer, this piece offers a unique functionality — the 3-in-1 Salad Dressing Maker takes a step out of the process (less dishes) allowing the customer to ream their citrus of choice directly into the vessel. Simply remove the reamer piece, add other dressing ingredients, replace the lid with silicone gasket and shake to combine!
I provided aesthetic direction, while the Chef’n team focused on engineering and manufacturing details. Together, we finessed the details and created a collection we can all be proud of.
Collaborated with Chef’n to create these Kitchen by Crate Citrus tools. Mini Juicer, Juicer, Handheld Reamer and Citrus Knives.
Worked closely in collaboration with the team at Chef’n, providing aesthetic direction, while their team focused on engineering and manufacturing details. Together, we finessed the details and created a collection we can all be proud of.
A much needed chic and elegant upgrade for the pantry space. Made of wood and acrylic, these containers beautifully display any food the customer chooses to display. Each is equipped with a silicone gasket to keep food fresh. Offered in both a Bamboo and a Walnut finish to bring your pantry goals to life! This project took several rounds to get right and I am very proud of where they landed.
A really fun opportunity to design both Kitchen and Entertaining items for this collab with Molly Baz (everything but textiles.) Molly and her husband Willet shared mood, inspiration, color palette and a few drawings for specific pieces, and I designed the rest, bringing their vision to life! An awesome collaborative effort from all teams.

So many hours went into this project, and I learned so much! Crate & Barrels first in-house designed cookware collection. Constructed from 5-ply aluminum and stainless steel with a copper core, this cookware set features ergonomic handles, sleek lids and flush rivets, because I hate when scrambled egg gets caught in there too! Worked closely with my cross functional partners to bring this collection to life.
An exclusive design to update the classic Misto. Inspired by the design language I had previously established in the Citrus Tools Collection. I provided aesthetic direction, while the Misto team handed their exclusive technology and manufacturing. This friendly design is constructed of high quality Tritan plastic.
An overhaul of our salt and pepper mill assortment. Provided multiple designs in multiple materials and finishes to create a mill for every kitchen. My favorite are the Hanno Mills — inspired by the fluting trend taking over the fashion and home industry. Flipping the fluting to represent salt vs pepper (in addition to the etched S & P on the top of each) is one of my favorite subtle design details.
A fun, spring seasonal story to inject color into the stores! A classic, but trend-forward stripe offers the perfect pop of color on the countertop. Pairs back to coordinating melamine pieces for a larger color story.
We went through several iterations of this clever design — numerous manufacturers and material trials over several years before finally finding the right mix. But it was worth the wait! I designed this piece to be a helpful addition to any kitchen. Sized to fit over the sink (vertically or horizontally) with a removable, collapsible silicone colander — perfect for rinsing produce and chopping, all in one place. Worked closely with the manufacturing partner to get every detail perfect.
A collection of several holiday collections, featuring ceramic pieces, salt and pepper mills, trivets, measuring and baking accessories.
I have designed multiple cutlery pieces for Kitchen by Crate. Full internal tang construction with stainless steel blades. Walnut handles feature clipped design detail that coordinates with Kitchen by Crate Utensils, Pastry Tools and Gadgets.
I have also designed several knife storage solutions — including blocks, in-drawer and magnetic wall mounts.
Worked closely with my manager and the design team from the cookware manufacturer to create this collection. The silicone rim, glass lid and angled wood handle make it unique and fresh in this space. The ceramic coating means I use mine every day!
A true labor of love! This collection proves you don’t have to sacrifice beauty for function. I wanted to create an elevated, and timeless measuring cup and spoon collection. Plastic handles clip together, omitting the need for that pesky O-ring that always seems to get lost in the drawer. Purchase all pieces in the collection to build a set with every measurement you might need. Plus, they’re dishwasher safe!
Designed to pair back to the Kitchen by Crate Utensils, Pastry Tools and Gadgets, this beautiful set is a timeless classic. Full stainless steel construction (with silicone bristles for the basting brush) are functional and beautiful. I also designed this storage case, where the tools are clipped in with faux leather, keeping them secure so the customer can reuse the case over and over again.
I designed this collection with simplicity in mind because I wanted to highlight the beauty of the Olivewood. Each piece is unique and pairs beautifully back to the classic matte stoneware.
I designed the XL Canister to fit a 5lb bag of flour — because I hate when there is just a little but left in the bag too! The cookbook/tablet stand features an adjustable design, perfect to fit any width of book. I also included small cut outs in the wood so that a charging cord can easily be thread through, allowing the customer to charge their tablet while in use.
A workhorse in any bakers kitchen — the pastry board! This design features a number of helpful measurement markings: from inner circles in the center, to help you measure how large your pie crust is, to exterior inch and centimeter markings around the border of the board. Two milled areas on the underside of the board create handles, making this piece easy to pick up. The reverse side can also be used for additional versatility.
I provide color direction for our exclusive Le Creuset and Staub Cookware colors. These colors include Le Creuset Chambray, Le Creuset Rhone, Le Creuset Thyme and Staub Eucalyptus.
I also provide exclusive color direction for Caraway, including the Silt Green color, including the first use of a gold handle based on our suggestion. We knew this collection would be popular, but we did not know that we would sell through 3 months worth of inventory in 5 hours !
Worked closely with a manufacturing partner to create this eleated collection of Pastry Tools. Lots of testing across the team in order to ensure each item was the best it could be!
Designed this collection inspired by midcentury forms and finishes. A light speckle glaze featuring raw glaze details, paired with walnut make for a trend forward feature.
One of the first collections I designed at Crate. This collection was inspired by our Nashville concept — soft but modern design details interpreted in graphic black and speckled white — paired with ray clay details, faux leather and black marble.
This collection was again inspired by a combination of form and function. A created design language for a collection of fruit baskets and fruit stands that the customer responded strongly to. Offered in multiple sizes for multiple kitchens in a variety of materials and finishes. My favorite is the Iron + White Marble!
Later, I worked with my assistant design to create a wall-mounted option. This piece is unique in that both baskets are removable, allowing the customer to refill them on the counter and simply replace them back on the wall/door.
This is one of my favorite little items to date. Over 140 5 star reviews!
Inspired by Austin, TX, this collection featured a unique surface texture that feels like worn denim. This design was glazed in an ombre of denim hues, paired with Mango wood lids, and the cherry on top — a unique ‘X’ foot design, a surprise and delight for the customer to find when they pick up the item. This collection offered a unique ceramic collection to the customer that couldn’t be found anywhere else.
This collection was designed as a versatile, functional but beautiful way to elevate the sink area. The exterior silhouettes feature classic, clean lines, and the pop of fun can be seen inside the Sink Caddy and Soap/Sponge Dish — a textured concentric pattern. I designed the Sinky Caddy to accommodate the Soap Pump, so it can be stored inside the caddy if the customer was limited on space. This workhorse is sold in both a matte black and matte white finish.
This collection was designed to create The Happy Kitchen. A vibrant palette, I designed these pieces to look like they had been dipped in color. Coordinating melamine pieces to offer a different material to the customer.
This seasonal fall baking collection was so fun to design! Bringing color to the customer, these glazed pieces featured small little sayings inside, like “sweet as pie” and “cutie pie”. My favorite piece is the pie trivet! Each piece was stamped with a small slice of pie stamp for a fun surprise detail.
Designed a number of cutting boards for the Kitchen by Crate launch, in a combination of both end and edge grain in Walnut, Acacia, Maple, Ebonized and Gray Wash woods.
A few seasons later, I designed 2 carving boards to coordinate with this collection.
A stylish but functional collection for the kitchen, Nera was inspired by clean, modern lines. Powder coated stainless steel mixing bowls, colander, measuring cups and measuring spoons. Etched volume in the base of each mixing bowl. Offered in black and white.
One of my first projects that I got to work on at Anthro, a fun, giftable bottle opener inspired by a simple citrus shape. A fun little item to work on!

For this exciting collaboration between Grandin Road and Iris Apfel, I was asked to act as both the design team and the art team — I created all paintings and hand lettering, and designed quite a few items in the collection. It was so exciting to watch the paintings come to life on this vibrant assortment of product. (Also, Iris thought I was a true Haitian painter and I think I can die happy!)

During my time freelancing for Anthropologie, I was prompted to develop Home Fragrance ideas for the “Bungalow” Anthropologie customer. I achieved this look by incorporating a handmade feel, mixing materials and providing a unique silhouette.

When asked to come up with ornament ideas, I was inspired by my own Christmas memories. Every year, we have Christmas Crackers - each complete with a paper hat, joke and little prize.

A cheeky take on outdoor decor! Peabody definitely gets a reaction from anyone he meets. I was inspired by whimsical, French boxwood topiaries and thought Peabody the dog might be a hit with our customer — turns out, he was and continues to be!

A very fun and very unique Halloween Entertaining collection! A combination of mixed materials, graphic prints and imaginative, whimsical design sure to set any Halloween table up for success.

This piece was created using the lamontage method — similar to felting — to create a beautiful, soft textured wall art piece and allowed us to push the boundaries in this category. I digitally painted the artwork.

I collaborated with the seasonal team to create this bright and fun ornament collection. It was particularly challenging to strike the balance between pushing the boundaries and staying true to our customer. The sequin filled ornament with velvet ribbon is my favorite!

Inspired by the classic silhouette of the Vespa, meaning “wasp” in Italian, this school project was an opportunity to have fun when designing a new hand mixer. I went through all stages creating this design — from sketch phase, to 3D modeling to final prototype.

This bar cart was designed to be with functionality in mind. The highlight of this design is the removable tray that fits into the top of the bar cart, allowing the user to carry items from cart. I also created all of the additional tray graphics as fun add-ons to cover all of the seasonal occasions our customer might want to celebrate.

I designed these pool floats to fit into Frontgate’s Porta Forma modern collection. This design in particular was challenging because we wanted to push the boundaries — a new, innovative in silhouette, head support construction and laser cut bubbles. Worked on many rounds with the vendor to get this design right. Also created graphic print for center float.

This hand painted design was inspired by a Jacobean style print, but updated through a more lively art style and with a brighter palette.

This school project really allowed me to get creative. I wanted to play on the idea traditional vs. modern by creating this sleek neon candelabra. I used long exposures in order to ‘sketch with light’ and even got to have some fun with glow stick prototypes! I 3D printed the base and worked with a local neon manufacturer to make my design come to life.
